After 10 days I am very pleased to be able to say we’ve had success beyond our expectations. Social organization within the village was very smooth and productive although village meetings in Nepal require significant patience.
Mountain expeditions in Nepal attract a more corageous and adventurous crowd as compared to trekking. This is a climber's paradise, with an almost unlimited number of peaks of varying degress of difficulty from the moderate to the most extreme.
Nepal hosts the world's highest peaks including Mt. Everest and has eight of the world's 14 peaks over 8000m including Mt. Everest (8850m), Kanchenjunga (8586m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Manaslu (8163m) and Annapurna (8091m). In 1949, mountaineering in the Nepalese Himalaya started with a team consisting of Bill Tilman, Peter Lloyd and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa who scaled Mt. Paldor 5,928m. Tenzing Norgay, of course, went on to summit Everest with Edmund Hillary in 1953.
We provide you with all the necessary permits, guides, porters group gear and other necessities to assist you in your summit attempt. We will do the necessary paperwork for expedition and climbing permits, organize all accommodation before and after your expedition.
